World heritage site with plenty of water
Knaus Campingpark Wingst is located by the North Sea in the far north of Germany in the Cuxland (Lower Saxony) holiday region. The low-lying countryside between Bremen and Hamburg is a contrasting landscape of meadows, woodland and plenty of water! The region has the North Sea, the great rivers of Elbe and Weser and dozens of smaller rivers, canals and lakes. You can really relax at the Knaus Campingpark Wingst, which is the only terraced campsite in northern Germany. Knaus Campingpark Wingst is ideally suited for a camping holiday with children. There are some playing facilities and miniature golf (not free of charge) at the campsite.

There is an open-air swimming pool and an indoor pool just opposite the campsite, which guests can use (not free of charge). There is also a sports and games park with a summer toboggan run close by. You can visit the zoo, which is 1 mile away from the campsite. As a guest of the campsite you will receive a discount at the zoo.

You can enjoy hiking and cycling in the area around this German campsite. The region is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, and campers interested in environmental and ecological farming methods. You are also close to Heligoland and Bremerhaven, which has a harbour, the Kilmahaus and shipping museum. You can enjoy a great day out in dazzling Hamburg, which has excellent shops and warehouses that are centuries old! You can also visit the Wattenmeer National Park of Lower Saxony, which is a protected nature reserve on the Wadden Sea close to Cuxhaven on the west coast.
